Abstract

An electronic device comprising: a memory; a display; and at least one processor configured to: control the display to display a lock screen including information provided by an exercise assisting application; detect an input performed while the lock screen is active; and generate a first audio signal indicating a value of an exercise parameter, in response to the input.

Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

a memory;

a display; and

at least one processor operatively coupled to the memory, configured to;

control the display to display a lock screen including information provided by an exercise assisting application;

detect an input performed while the lock screen is active; and

generate a first audio signal indicating a value of an exercise parameter, in response to the input.

2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the input includes a touch that is performed in the lock screen.

3. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the input includes a voice command.

4. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the information provided by the exercise assisting application includes respective values of one or more exercise parameters that are selected in the exercise assisting application.

5. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the exercise parameter includes at least one of an exercise duration time, a moving distance, an altitude, a moving speed, a distance to a destination, consumed calories, and a time taken to travel a predetermined distance.

6. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to analyze a pattern associated with the input, identify a triggering condition as a result of the analysis, and generate a second audio signal indicating the value of the exercise parameter in response to detecting that the triggering condition is satisfied.

7. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the triggering condition is identified based on a time when the input is received.

8. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the triggering condition is identified based on a moving speed of the electronic device when the input is received.

9. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the triggering condition is identified based on a heart rate of a user when the input is received.

10. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the triggering condition is satisfied when a value of a preset exercise parameter reaches a threshold value, and wherein the value of the exercise parameter indicated by the second audio signal includes the value of the preset exercise parameter.

11. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the triggering condition is satisfied when a value of a preset exercise parameter reaches one of a plurality of threshold values.

12. The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the preset exercise parameter includes at least one of an exercise duration time, a moving distance, a moving speed, and calories consumed by a user.

13. A method comprising:

displaying, by an electronic device, a lock screen including information provided by an exercise assisting application;

detecting, by the electronic device, an input performed while the lock screen is active; and

generating, by the electronic device, a first audio signal indicating a value of an exercise parameter, in response to the input.

14. The method of claim 13, wherein the input includes a touch that is performed in the lock screen.

15. The method of claim 13, wherein the input includes a voice command.

16. The method of claim 13, further comprising:

analyzing a pattern associated with the input;

identifying a triggering condition as a result of the analysis; and

generating a second audio signal indicating the value of the exercise parameter in response to detecting that the triggering condition is satisfied

17. The method of claim 16, wherein the triggering condition is identified based on a time when the input is received.

18. The electronic device of claim 16, wherein of the triggering condition is identified based on a moving speed of the electronic device when the input is received.

19. The electronic device of claim 16, wherein the triggering condition is identified based on a heart rate of a user when the input is received.

20. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs comprising instructions which, when executed by at least one processor cause the at least one processor to execute a method comprising the steps of:

displaying a lock screen including information provided by an exercise assisting application;

detecting an input performed while the lock screen is active; and

generating a first audio signal indicating a value of an exercise parameter, in response to the input.
