Abstract

A liquid crystal display, including: a liquid crystal panel; and a visual inspection unit positioned in an outer region of the liquid crystal panel and transferring a test signal to the liquid crystal panel, in which the visual inspection unit includes: a test pad to which a test signal is applied; a first test line connected to the test pad; and a second test line connected to the test pad through a bridge line.

Claims

1. A liquid crystal display, comprising:

a liquid crystal panel; and

a visual inspection unit positioned in an outer region of the liquid crystal panel and transferring a test signal to the liquid crystal panel,

wherein the visual inspection unit includes;

a test pad to which a test signal is applied;

a first test line connected to the test pad; and

a second test line connected to the test pad through a bridge line.

2. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the visual inspection unit further includes a plurality of test pads to which a plurality of test signals are applied and a plurality of test lines connected to respective ones of the plurality of test pads.

3. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the first test line and the second test line transfer the same signal.

4. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the test signal is a common electrode voltage.

5. The liquid crystal display of claim 4, wherein:

the first test line transfers the common electrode voltage to the liquid crystal panel and the second test line transfers a storage electrode voltage to the liquid crystal panel.

6. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the test signal is a storage electrode voltage.

7. The liquid crystal display of claim 6, wherein:

the first test line transfers the storage electrode voltage to the liquid crystal panel and the second test line transfers the common electrode voltage to the liquid crystal panel.

8. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the bridge line is connected to the test pad through a first connection hole and is connected to the second test line through a second connection hole.

9. The liquid crystal display of claim 8, wherein:

the bridge line is positioned on the same layer as an electrode layer of the liquid crystal panel.

10. The liquid crystal display of claim 9, wherein:

the bridge line is positioned on the same layer as a pixel electrode of the liquid crystal panel.

11. The liquid crystal display of claim 10, wherein:

the bridge line is made of indium tin oxide (ITO) or indium zinc oxide (IZO).

12. The liquid crystal display of claim 1, wherein:

the bridge line is a static electricity dispersion line.
