Abstract

A method for receiving a relay physical downlink control channel (R-PDCCH) at a relay in a wireless communication system is discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving first control information for downlink scheduling in a first slot of a set of resource block (RB) pairs. The first control information includes allocation information on one or more resource units. The method according to the embodiment further includes monitoring second control information in a second slot of the set of RB pairs. If the R-PDCCH is assigned to the second slot of the set of RB pairs, the R-PDCCH is configured to carry control information for uplink scheduling.

Claims

1. A method for receiving a relay physical downlink control channel (R-PDCCH) at a relay in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving first control information for downlink scheduling in a first slot of a set of resource block (RB) pairs, wherein the first control information includes allocation information on one or more resource units; and

monitoring second control information in a second slot of the set of RB pairs,

wherein if the R-PDCCH is assigned to the second slot of the set of RB pairs, the R-PDCCH is configured to carry control information for uplink scheduling.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein if the R-PDCCH is assigned to the first slot of the set of RB pairs, the R-PDCCH is configured to carry control information for downlink scheduling.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein if the allocated one or more resource units overlap with a resource block pair where the first control information is detected, the procedure for receiving data is performed under an assumption that the data exists on the second slot of the resource block pairs.

4. The method of claim 3, further comprising:

performing a procedure for receiving data corresponding to the first control information.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the first control information is a downlink assignment.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the second control information is an uplink grant.

7. A relay for receiving a relay physical downlink control channel (R-PDCCH) in a wireless communication system, the relay comprising:

a radio frequency unit; and

a processor configured to;

receive first control information for downlink scheduling in a first slot of a set of resource block (RB) pairs, wherein the first control information includes allocation information on one or more resource units, and

monitor second control information in a second slot of the set of RB pairs,

wherein if the R-PDCCH is assigned to the second slot of the set of RB pairs, the R-PDCCH is configured to carry control information for uplink scheduling.
