1. The inventor claims a Multi-Rotor Safety Shield (MRSS) device that provides a complete and substantial encasement system for UAV'"'"'s, UAS'"'"'s, sUAS'"'"'s or any other VTOL'"'"'s (known as Drone or Drones), that protects the Drone itself from any exterior disturbance including but not limited to dust, water, wind, rain, snow, atmospheric occurrences or any other disturbance that would otherwise disable the Drone in flight;

  • it protects persons, places and things in the event of any disturbance of any kind to the Drone that could cause rapid decent or uncontrolled flight from the failure of one or more of the on board systems;

    it protects the Drone from being lost due to lack of communications or any other malfunction that would otherwise disable the Drone; and

    the MRSS returns the disabled drone safely to ground without harm to the Drone or to people, places or things.a. The MRSS is a rigid non permeable platform and is the basis of complete and substantial encasement system for a plurality of Drones.b. The MRSS is an encasement system that includes a top housing component 1 and a bottom housing component 20 with an optional middle housing component 10 and/or additional housing components for future unknown use.c. The MRSS has an encasement component consisting of any number of flexible water and air resistant gaskets, grommets, plugs, seals, or sealers 18, 25, and 26 as example made of rubber, silicone, acrylic or any other elastic material in a grooved, cut, slat, machined indentation, as example, 5, 12, 27, 30, 33, and 34 between where any two housing components come together or meet and with the manifold/crossbar pass through grommets 25 between where the intake 2 and exhaust 21 manifolds junction with the Drone crossbars 24 to achieve a water and air resistant complete and substantial encasement system.d. The MRSS has an encasement component consisting of a screen, grid or any other method of air permeable membrane 4 that covers any exterior opening such as but not limited to the manifold section at the exterior most position of both intake 2 and exhaust 21 manifolds matching the number of rotor/propellers and protecting the rotor/propellers from contacting any person, place of thing and by protecting the rotor/propellers from any outside person, place of thing from coming into contact the rotor/propellers.e. The MRSS has a rigid non permeable platform 1, 20 as part of a complete and substantial encasement system for a plurality of Drones that can house any number of safety devices.i. The MRSS functions as a mounting platform 1, 20 for any number of number of parachutes 3 or any type of inflatable device 29 capable of stopping rapid and uncontrolled descent.ii. The MRSS functions as a mounting platform 1, 20 that eliminates fly away Drones by deploying a parachute 3 and inflatable device 29 and an RFID chip and by a rotor/propeller shutdown once loss of communications, or loss of any critical function such as but not limited to, GPS, battery failure, wind disturbance, or human error as example, that would likely cause the Drone to be lost or to have uncontrolled flight, thereby allowing the Drone to safely return to the ground undamaged.
