Abstract

One embodiment includes a portable reading device for reading a paginated e-book, with at least a page including a section including text linked to an illustration. The device can layout the section by keeping the text with the illustration to be displayed in one screen, and maintaining the pagination of the e-book if the page is displayed in more than one screen. Another embodiment includes reading materials with a text sub file with texts, an illustration sub file with illustrations, and a logic sub file with rules on displaying the materials. Either the text or the illustration sub file includes position information linking at least an illustration to a corresponding piece of text. One embodiment includes reading materials with a logic sub file that can analyze an attribute of, and provide a response to, a reader. Another embodiment can be an eyewear presenting device, allowing for hands-free presenting.

Claims

1. An eyewear presenting device to present reading materials, the eyewear presenting device comprising:

a controller;

a display;

an imaging sensor; and

a storage medium to store at least a piece of reading materials, with the piece of reading materials comprising;

a text sub file to store at least a piece of text of the piece of reading materials;

an illustration sub file to store at least an illustration of the piece of reading materials; and

a logic sub file including a plurality of instructions executable by the controller to result in the mobile device to;

layout at least a section of the piece of reading materials in at least a screen of a first size on the display, at least by keeping the piece of text with the illustration to be displayed in the at least a screen of the first size, wherein to layout includes to determine the first size of the screen and to calculate at least one position of the piece of text in the screen;

layout the at least a section of the piece of reading materials in at least a screen of a second size on the display, at least by keeping the piece of text with the illustration to be displayed in the at least a screen of the second size, wherein to layout includes to determine the second size of the screen and to calculate at least one position of the piece of text in the screen, with the second size being different from the first size;

monitor, using at least the imaging sensor, a first user to determine an attribute of the first user regarding reading an area of the piece of reading materials;

analyze at least the attribute to identify the area of the piece of reading materials, with the area being at least the at least a section of the piece of reading materials;

access the area in the piece of reading materials in view of the analysis; and

present the area in the piece of reading materials on the display.
