In some embodiments a computer-implemented method is performed on a computing device and includes collecting content quality data for a plurality of users, wherein the content quality data for each user is calculated from the following content quality measures: (1) a number of videos made by the user, (2) a number of positive votes received for the videos made, (3) a number of views for the videos made, (4) a number of times the videos made is shared by other users, (5) a number of other users following the user, and determining and ranking the plurality of users according to the collected content quality data.
