Abstract

A machine includes a processor and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to receive a message and a message parameter indicative of a characteristic of the message, where the message includes a photograph or a video. A determination is made that the message parameter corresponds to a selected gallery, where the selected gallery includes a sequence of photographs or videos. The message is posted to the selected gallery in response to the determination. The selected gallery is supplied in response to a request.

21. A method comprising:

receiving, at a computing device, a photograph or video, a first input of a key or gesture, and a second input associated with the key or gesture, from a user;

detecting, by the computing device, that the key or gesture indicates an intent to add the photo or video to a particular gallery;

determining, by the computing device, the particular gallery based on the second input associated with the key or gesture; and

submitting, by the computing device, the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery.

22. The method of claim 21, wherein the key is particular text indicating an intent to add a media content to a particular gallery.

23. The method of claim 21, wherein the gesture is a swipe made by the user on an interface of the device.

24. The method of claim 21, wherein the photograph or video is subsequently posted to the particular gallery and the particular gallery is supplied in response to a request.

25. The method of claim 21, wherein before submitting the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery, the method further comprising:

sending a request to a server to register the user to participate in posting to the particular gallery.

26. The method of claim 25, wherein in response to the request to register the user to participate in posting to the particular gallery, the user is registered with the particular gallery.

27. The method of claim 21, wherein the photograph or video is an annotated photograph or video that includes the first input of the key or gesture and the second input associated with the key or gesture.

28. The method of claim 21, further comprising:

displaying the particular gallery on the client device.

29. The method of claim 21, wherein the first input and second input are made during an annotation process to add text, graphics, or images, to the photograph or video.

30. A computing device comprising:

a processor; and

a computer readable medium coupled with the processor, the computer readable medium comprising instructions stored thereon that are executable by the processor to cause the computing device to perform operations comprising;

receiving a photograph or video, a first input of a key or gesture, and a second input associated with the key or gesture, from a user;

detecting that the key or gesture indicates an intent to add the photo or video to a particular gallery;

determining the particular gallery based on the second input associated with the key or gesture; and

submitting the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery.

31. The computing device of claim 30, wherein the key is particular text indicating an intent to add a media content to a particular gallery.

32. The computing device of claim 30, wherein the gesture is a swipe made by the user on an interface of the device.

33. The computing device of claim 30, wherein the photograph or video is subsequently posted to the particular gallery and the particular gallery is supplied in response to a request.

34. The computing device of claim 30, wherein before submitting the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery, the operations further comprising:

sending a request to a server to register the user to participate in posting to the particular gallery.

35. The computing device of claim 34, wherein in response to the request to register the user to participate in posting to the particular gallery, the user is registered with the particular gallery.

36. The computing device of claim 30, wherein the photograph or video is an annotated photograph or video that includes the first input of the key or gesture and the second input associated with the key or gesture.

37. The computing device of claim 30, the operations further comprising:

displaying the particular gallery on the client device.

38. The computing device of claim 30, wherein the first input and second input are made during an annotation process to add text, graphics, or images, to the photograph or video.

39. A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions stored thereon that are executable by at least one processor to cause a computing device to perform operations comprising:

receiving a photograph or video, a first input of a key or gesture, and a second input associated with the key or gesture, from a user;

detecting that the key or gesture indicates an intent to add the photo or video to a particular gallery;

determining the particular gallery based on the second input associated with the key or gesture; and

submitting the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery.

40. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 39, wherein before submitting the photograph or video to be included in the particular gallery, the operations further comprising:

sending a request to a server to register the user to participate in posting to the particular gallery.
