1. A method performed by a central server for sending for display a respective list of potential drug interactions to one or more smart medicine containers, the central server having access to a data storage storing a plurality of patient accounts each for a respective identified patient, each of the plurality of patient accounts being registered with one or more respective identified smart medicine containers of the respective patient, each said registered smart medicine container comprising a respective medicine storage portion storing a bulk supply of pills of a respective medicine for dispensing, a respective electronic display screen, a respective network interface device, and a respective control unit having a processor and a memory and configured to enable the processor to execute one or more software programs stored in the memory, the method comprising:
- receiving information identifying a plurality of medicines which a first patient identified by a first patient account of the plurality of patient accounts is subscribed to take;
receiving information indicating a first medicine of the plurality of medicines of the first patient as being stored for dispensing in a first smart medicine container of the respective one or more smart medicine containers registered into the first patient account;
generating a first list of one or more potential drug interactions between the first medicine and one or more other medicines of the plurality of medicines of the first patient; and
sending the first list of potential drug interactions to the first smart medicine container so that the first smart medicine container displays the first list of potential drug interactions via the electronic display screen of the first smart medicine container.

Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a system and apparatus for displaying drug interaction and side effects on a drug storage container. The system includes a server and a plurality of medicine dispensing devices communicatively connectable to the server. Each of the dispensing devices includes a medicine storage portion having a discharge port, a dispensing assembly configured to selectively receive the pills from the discharge port, an electronic display screen, and a control system. The control system is configured to associate a medicine stored in the medicine storage portion of the medicine dispensing device, generate a list of potential drug interactions associated with the medicine and a second medicine associated with a user, receive, from the server, the list of potential drug interactions associated with the medicine, and display the list of potential drug interactions on the electronic display screen of the first medicine dispensing device.

A smart medicine container configured and programmed to receive from a central server for display a list of one or more potential drug interactions, the central server having access to a data storage storing a plurality of patient accounts each for a respective identified patient, each of the plurality of patient accounts being registered with one or more respective identified smart medicine containers of the respective patient, a first patient having a first patient account stored in the data storage as one of the plurality of patient accounts, the first patient account being registered with the smart medicine container, the smart medicine container comprising:
