Abstract

Provided is a computer system and method for mapping a visual path. The method includes receiving one or more images included in a predefined area; receiving one or more parameters associated with the image; and integrating the images and parameters into a map of the predefined area to enable mapping the visual path through the predefined area in response to one or more input path parameters.

161. A system, comprising:

circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place;

circuitry configured for providing a map at least partially based on the path;

circuitry configured for scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data; and

circuitry configured for overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location.

162. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving one or more directions associating one or more locations in a specified order.

163. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least an identification of a destination.

164. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place comprises:

circuitry configured for storing the path for later mobile use.

165. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving two or more images capable of providing a visual path in response to one or more input path parameters at least partially via stitching.

166. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving a path at a mobile device in response to a query transmitted to a server by the mobile device.

167. The system of claim 166, wherein circuitry configured for receiving a path at a mobile device in response to a query transmitted to a server by the mobile device comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving a path at a mobile device, the mobile device including at least one of a cellular phone or a portable device with wireless real-time internet access.

168. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for providing a map at least partially based on the path comprises:

circuitry configured for stitching one or more images at least partially based on the path; and

circuitry configured for displaying the stitched one or more images as the map.

169. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for providing a map at least partially based on the path comprises:

circuitry configured for integrating one or more images in a specified order associated with the one or more input path parameters into a map at least partially based on the path.

170. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for providing a map at least partially based on the path comprises:

circuitry configured for providing a map enabling a user of a mobile device to visualize the path for travel purposes.

171. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for providing a map at least partially based on the path comprises:

circuitry configured for stitching one or more symbolic representations of one or more places at least partially based on the path; and

circuitry configured for displaying the stitched one or more symbolic representations as the map.

172. The system of claim 171, wherein circuitry configured for stitching one or more symbolic representations of one or more places at least partially based on the path comprises:

circuitry configured for stitching one or more representations of one or more places in three-dimensional form at least partially based on the path.

173. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving data from a GPS sensor internal to the system in real-time; and

circuitry configured for updating a display of the map at least partially based on the data received from the GPS sensor internal to the system.

174. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data comprises:

circuitry configured for scrolling the map at least partially based on a speed associated with movement of the system.

175. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data comprises:

circuitry configured for displaying one or more images of one or more locations associated with the path at least partially based on a speed associated with movement of the system.

176. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location comprises:

circuitry configured for overlaying at least one three-dimensional projection of the at least one place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location.

177. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location comprises:

circuitry configured for receiving an indication from a GPS sensor internal to the system of the system arriving at the location associated with the place; and

circuitry configured for displaying at least one of a picture or an image representative of the place responsive to the indication of the system arriving at the location associated with the place.

178. The system of claim 161, wherein circuitry configured for overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location comprises:

circuitry configured for stitching at least one image representative of the place to the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location.

179. A system, comprising:

means for receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place;

means for providing a map at least partially based on the path;

means for scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data; and

means for overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location,

wherein at least one of the means for receiving, the means for providing, the means for scrolling, or the means for overlaying is at least partially implemented using at least one processing device.

180. A method, comprising:

receiving a path in response to one or more input path parameters, at least one input path parameter including at least a location associated with a place;

providing a map at least partially based on the path;

scrolling the map at least partially based on GPS data; and

overlaying an image associated with the place over the map at least partially based on GPS data indicative of the location,

wherein at least one of the receiving, providing, scrolling, or overlaying is at least partially implemented using at least one processing device.
