Abstract

A damping structure includes a first frame on which a driving portion is mounted, a second frame provided at a position facing the first frame in a state being connected with the first frame, a project portion provided projectively from one frame toward the other frame among the first and second frames, and a damping member compressively held between the project portion and the other frame. The damping member has rigidity lower than rigidities of the first and second frames and of the project portion and has a loss factor, measured by a mechanical impedance method in the state being compressed between the project portion and the other frame, of 0.05 or more.

Claims

1. A damping structure comprising:

a first frame on which a driving portion is mounted;

a second frame provided at a position facing the first frame in a state being connected with the first frame;

a project portion provided projectively from one frame toward the other frame among the first and second frames; and

a damping member compressively held between the project portion and the other frame, the damping member having rigidity lower than rigidities of the first and second frames and of the project portion and having a loss factor, measured by a mechanical impedance method in the state being compressed between the project portion and the other frame, of 0.05 or more.

2. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the rigidity of the project portion is greater than the rigidity of at least one frame among the first and second frames.

3. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the project portion provided projectively from the second frame toward the first frame, and

wherein the damping member is compressively held between the project portion and a position of the first frame where a vibration amplitude of a surface of the first frame is greater than an average of vibration amplitudes of the surface of the first frame in a state in which no damping member is attached.

4. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the driving portion comprises a driving source, and a rotator rotationally driven by the driving source, and

wherein the project portion is a fixed shaft fixed to the first frame and supporting the rotator.

5. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the damping member has the loss factor, measured by the mechanical impedance method in the state being compressed, of 0.4 or more.

6. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the damping member is attached at a tip of the project portion and is compressed by the project portion and the other frame.

7. The damping structure according to claim 1, further comprising a press member provided at a tip of the projection portion and whose area is larger than an area of an end surface of the tip of the projecting portion,

wherein the damping member is compressed by the project portion and the other frame.

8. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein hardness of the damping member is 70 degrees or less in terms of Asker C hardness.

9. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the damping member is compressed more than 0% and less than 50% from a thickness before compression.

10. The damping structure according to claim 1, wherein the project portion is a first project portion and the damping member is a first damping member,

wherein the damping structure further comprises:

a third frame provided at a position facing the second frame in a state being connected with the second frame;

a second project portion provided projectively from one frame toward the other frame among the second and third frames; and

a second damping member compressively held between a tip of the second project portion and the other frame among the second and third frames, and

wherein the second damping member has rigidity lower than rigidities of the second and third frames and of the second project portion and has a loss factor, measured by the mechanical impedance method in the state being compressed between the second project portion and the other frame among the second and third frames, of 0.05 or more.

11. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the rigidity of the second project portion is greater than the rigidity of at least one frame among the second and third frames.

12. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the driving portion is a first driving portion, and

wherein a second driving portion is mounted on the second frame such that the second driving portion is positioned between the second and third frames.

13. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the first project portion is provided projectively from the first frame toward the second frame, and

wherein the second project portion is provided projectively from the third frame toward a position facing the first opposing portion of the second frame.

14. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the second driving portion comprises a second rotator rotationally driven, and

wherein the second project portion is a fixed shaft fixed to the second frame and supporting the second rotator.

15. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the second damping member has the loss factor, measured by the mechanical impedance method in the state being compressed, of 0.4 or more.

16. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the second damping member has hardness of 70 degrees or less in terms of Asker C hardness.

17. The damping structure according to claim 10, wherein the second damping member is compressed more than 0% and less than 50% from a thickness before compression.
