ADAPTING DATA FOR CHANGES TO DATA ATTRIBUTES
First Claim
1. A method comprising:
- accessing, by a computing system, data related to an enterprise, wherein the data is associated with a plurality of attributes, and wherein the plurality of attributes corresponds to a first version of an application;
determining, by the computing system, a change in the plurality of attributes associated with the data, wherein the change is based on a modification of the application from the first version of the application to a second version of the application;
identifying, by the computing system, based on the determined change in the plurality of attributes, a change to a first attribute in the plurality of attributes; and
modifying, by the computing system, based on the change to the first attribute, the first attribute associated with the data.

Abstract
The present disclosure relates generally to adapting data for changes in attributes associated with the data (e.g., data related to an enterprise). More particularly, techniques are disclosed for modifying attributes associated with data corresponding to a change in those attributes based on a change in a product (e.g., an application, a computer system, a computer program product, or a service). The data adaptation techniques may include determine attributes that have changed based on adaptation information that indicates changes in attributes associated with data accessed by the product. The adaptation may indicate conditions for those changes, such as a condition that indicates a change to an attribute corresponding to a change from one version of a product to another version of the product. Upon determining that a condition for a change to an attribute has occurred, the attribute may be modified based on the change.

14. A system comprising:
-
one or more processors; and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to; access data related to an enterprise, wherein the data is associated with a plurality of attributes, and wherein the plurality of attributes corresponds to a first version of an application; determine a change in the plurality of attributes associated with the data, wherein the change is based on a modification of the application from the first version of the application to a second version of the application; identify, based on the determined change in the plurality of attributes, a change to a first attribute in the plurality of attributes; and modify, based on the change to the first attribute, the first attribute associated with the data. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18)
