Abstract

Provided are a method and apparatus for executing a device according to usage authority, wherein usage authority information for a first device may be received, usage authority for the first device may be identified based on the received usage authority information as well as telephone number information of a user, and the first device may be executed according to the identified usage authority for the first device.

Claims

1. A method of executing a device according to usage authority, the method comprising:

receiving usage authority information for a first device;

identifying the usage authority for the first device based on the received usage authority information and telephone number information of a user; and

executing the first device according to the identified usage authority for the first device.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the identifying includes identifying whether or not the user is authentic by using biometric information of the user.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein biometrics of the user includes information about fingerprints, an iris, a voice or veins of the user.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the receiving usage authority information includes receiving the usage authority information for the first device, the usage authority for the first device differing depending on the user.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the usage authority information for the first device that differs depending on the user is received from a second device storing the usage authority information.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of some functions of the first device.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of functions of the first device at only a first time from among a plurality of times.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of functions of the first device at only a first space from among a plurality of spaces.

9. The method of executing a device according to usage authority of claim 1, wherein the first device is an internet of things (IOT) device.

10. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a computer program for performing the method of claim 1.

11. An apparatus for executing a device according to usage authority, the apparatus comprising:

a receiver receiving usage authority information for a first device;

an identification unit identifying the usage authority for the first device based on the received usage authority information as well as telephone number information of a user; and

an execution unit executing the first device according to the identified usage authority for the first device.

12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the identification unit is configured to identify whether or not the user is authentic by using biometric information of the user.

13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the biometrics of the user includes information about fingerprints, an iris, a voice or veins of the user.

14. The apparatus of claim 11,

wherein the receiver is configured to receive the usage authority information for the first device, and

wherein the usage authority information for the first device differs depending on the user.

15. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein the receiver is configured to receive the usage authority information for the first device that differs depending on the user from a second device storing the usage authority information.

16. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of some functions of the first device.

17. The apparatus claim 11, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of functions of the first device at only a first time from among a plurality of times.

18. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the usage authority information for the first device includes usage authority information permitting an execution of functions of the first device at only a first space from among a plurality of spaces.

19. The apparatus for executing a device according to usage authority of claim 11, wherein the first device is an internet of things (IOT) device.
