1. A system for generating cartoon data, the system comprising:
- at least one processor in communication with a plurality of user terminals through a computer network, and configured to execute a plurality of functions, the functions including,a receiving unit that receives a layer selection signal for selecting at least one layer from cartoon data and an effect application signal for applying a predetermined effect to the at least one selected layer, the cartoon data comprising a cut generated from a combination of the at least one layer and another layera determination unit that determines a layer satisfying a predetermined expansion condition from among the at least one selected layer; and
a controller that expands the layer satisfying the predetermined expansion condition to a predetermined size and generate an effect cut from a combination of the expanded layer and another layer, wherein the layer satisfying the predetermined expansion condition is expanded by applying the predetermined effect.
