Abstract

A cloud computing system includes a network interface for interfacing with a wide area network. At least one wireless transceiver engages in bidirectional communication with a plurality of vehicle cloud processing devices within a corresponding plurality of vehicles in at least one vehicle aggregation location. A network control device receives requests for at least one cloud computing service via the wide area network and facilitates the at least one cloud computing service via the bidirectional communication with the plurality of vehicle cloud processing devices.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

communicating via a wide area network with a plurality of cloud processing devices at a corresponding plurality of locations, wherein the plurality of cloud processing devices each include a synthesis device;

receiving requests for cloud tasks from client devices, each request indicating a drug to be synthesized;

allocating each request to one of the plurality of cloud processing devices based on the corresponding one of the plurality of locations, and wherein the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices synthesizes the drug via the synthesis device; and

receiving cloud task results data from the plurality of cloud processing devices indicating when the cloud tasks are completed.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the synthesis device includes a printer, a three-dimensional fabrication device, a bio-sequencing device, bio-synthesis device, or bioinformatics device that produces the drug.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the drug includes at least one of a drug target, an experimental drug, a generic drug, a cosmetic or a vaccine.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the synthesis device includes a storage system configured to store materials.

5. The method of claim 4 wherein the materials include:

materials used by the synthesis device, resources of the synthesis device, supplies used by the synthesis device or synthesized output of the synthesis device.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein the synthesis device includes a cooling system configured to control a temperature of the synthesis device, materials used by the synthesis device or the drug.

7. The method of claim 1 wherein allocating each request to the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices includes providing time constraints for completing a corresponding cloud task of the cloud tasks, based on capabilities associated with the plurality of cloud processing devices.

8. The method of claim 1 wherein allocating each request to the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices is further based on a task duration.

9. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

monitoring performance of the cloud tasks by the plurality of cloud processing devices.

10. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

facilitating delivery of the drug.

11. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

facilitating payment for the drug.

12. The method of claim 1 wherein the client devices include a smartphone.

13. The method of claim 12 further comprising authenticating the smartphone, prior to receiving one of the requests for cloud tasks from the smartphone.

14. The method of claim 1 wherein the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices includes a vehicle and the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices synthesizes the drug via the synthesis device within the vehicle.

15. A method comprising:

communicating via a wide area network with a plurality of cloud processing devices at a corresponding plurality of locations, wherein the plurality of cloud processing devices each include a synthesis device;

receiving requests for cloud tasks from client devices, each request indicating a drug to be synthesized and an associated price option;

allocating each request to one of the plurality of cloud processing devices at one of the corresponding plurality of locations based on the associated price option, and wherein the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices synthesizes the drug via the synthesis device; and

receiving cloud task results data from the plurality of cloud processing devices indicating when the cloud tasks are completed.

16. The method of claim 15 wherein the associated price option indicates a premium price associated with faster service, and wherein the one of the plurality of cloud processing devices is configured to at least one of:

synthesize the drug via the synthesis device in accordance with the faster service or deliver the synthesized drug in accordance with the faster service.

17. The method of claim 15 wherein the synthesis device includes a printer, a three-dimensional fabrication device, a bio-sequencing device, bio-synthesis device, or bioinformatics device that produces the drug.

18. A method comprising:

communicating via a wide area secure network with a plurality of secure cloud processing devices at a corresponding plurality of locations, wherein the plurality of secure cloud processing devices each include a secure synthesis device;

receiving a request for a cloud task from a client devices, the request indicating a drug to be synthesized and an associated price option;

allocating the request to one of the plurality of secure cloud processing devices at one of the corresponding plurality of locations based on the associated price option and wherein the one of the plurality of secure cloud processing devices synthesizes the drug via the secure synthesis device;

receiving secure cloud task results data from the plurality of secure cloud processing devices indicating when the secure cloud task is completed; and

facilitating delivery of the drug.

19. The method of claim 18 wherein the associated price option indicates a premium price associated with faster service, and wherein the one of the plurality of secure cloud processing devices is configured to at least one of:

synthesize the drug via the secure synthesis device in accordance with the faster service or deliver the synthesized drug in accordance with the faster service.

20. The method of claim 18 wherein the client devices include a smartphone that generates the request for the cloud task and further comprising authenticating the smartphone, prior to receiving the request for the cloud task from the smartphone.
