Abstract

A toilet chair includes a support frame, and a platform connected to the support frame. The platform is connected to the support frame at a first end with at least one horizontal strut. The platform is configured to move with respect to the support frame and includes at least one clamp at a second end. The at least one clamp is configured to lock the platform to the support frame at the second end forming a horizontal platform. The toilet chair also includes a toilet seat assembly connected to the platform. The toilet seat assembly is configured to support a user and move with respect to the platform.

Claims

1. A device, comprising:

a support frame;

a platform connected to the support frame by at least one horizontal strut at a first end and configured to move with respect to the support frame, the at least one horizontal strut being coupled to the support frame by a bracket, the bracket defining an oval opening formed around at least a portion of the support frame, the platform including clamps at a second end, the clamps configured to lock the platform to the support frame at the second end providing a horizontal platform; and

a toilet seat assembly connected to the platform, the toilet seat assembly being configured to support a user and move with respect to the platform.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the oval opening is sized to allow rotational and translational movement of the horizontal strut with respect to the support frame.

3. The device of claim 1, further comprising a table pivotally connected to the support frame and configured to move with respect to the support frame.

18. The device of claim 17, wherein the at least one horizontal strut is coupled to the support frame by a bracket, the bracket defining an oval opening formed around at least a portion of the support frame.

19. The device of claim 18, wherein the oval opening is sized to allow rotational and translational movement of the horizontal strut with respect to the support frame.

4. A toilet chair, comprising:

a support frame;

a platform connected to the support frame by at least one horizontal strut at a first end and configured to move with respect to the support frame, the platform including clamps at a second end, the clamps configured to lock the platform to the support frame at the second end providing a horizontal platform; and

a toilet seat assembly connected to the platform, the toilet seat assembly being configured to support a user and move with respect to the platform.

5. The toilet chair of claim 4, including at least one arm rest, the at least one arm rest being pivotally connected to the support frame and configured to move with respect to the support frame.

6. The toilet chair of claim 4, wherein the at least one horizontal strut is configured to provide rotational and translational movement of the platform with respect to the support frame.

7. The toilet chair of claim 6, wherein the at least one horizontal strut is coupled to the support frame by a bracket, the bracket defining an oval opening formed around at least a portion of the support frame.

8. The toilet chair of claim 7, wherein the oval opening is sized to allow rotational and translational movement of the horizontal strut with respect to the support frame.

9. The toilet chair of claim 4, wherein the toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a toilet seat lid, and a locking mechanism for the toilet seat lid to secure the toilet seat lid in a closed position.

10. The toilet chair of claim 4, further comprising a table pivotally connected to the support frame and configured to move with respect to the support frame.

11. The toilet chair of claim 10, wherein the table includes a cup holder.

12. The toilet chair of claim 4, further comprising a waste bag attached to the toilet seat assembly.

13. A device, comprising:

a support frame; and

a platform connected to the support frame at a first end and configured to move with respect to the support frame, the platform including clamps at a second end, the clamps configured to lock the platform to the support frame at the second end providing a horizontal platform.

14. The device of claim 13, including:

a toilet seat assembly connected to the platform, the toilet seat assembly being configured to support a user and move with respect to the platform.

15. The device of claim 14, wherein the toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a toilet seat lid, and a locking mechanism for the toilet seat lid to secure the toilet seat lid in a closed position.

16. The device of claim 13, including at least one arm rest, the at least one arm rest being pivotally connected to the support frame and configured to move with respect to the support frame.

17. The device of claim 13, wherein the platform is connected to the support frame by at least one horizontal strut and the at least one horizontal strut is configured to provide rotational and translational movement of the platform with respect to the support frame.

20. The device of claim 13, further comprising a table pivotally connected to the support frame and configured to move with respect to the support frame.
