1. An adapter for electric charging of an electric vehicle using a vehicle-side plug-in charging system at a charging station that uses a station-side plug-in charging system that is different from the vehicle-side plug-in charging system, the adapter comprising:
- a station-side plug-in charging system charging socket;
a vehicle-side plug-in charging system charging plug;
a data interface using a data communications technology of the vehicle-side plug-in charging system, the data communications technology of the vehicle-side plug-in charging system being based on a power-line transmission; and
a data interface using a data communications technology of the station-side plug-in charging system, the data communications technology of the station-side plug-in charging system being based on a CAN bus transmission.
