the windings defining gaps between each winding segment, wherein parameters of the gaps and parameters of the windings are selected to generate a balanced magnetic field, wherein a material of the core comprises an amorphous or annealed material, further comprising metals or alloys, further comprising one or more of nickel or nano-crystalline or nano-materials.
