an electrophotographic photosensitive member; a charging device for charging a surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member; an image exposing device for exposing the charged electrophotographic photosensitive member to form an electrostatic latent image; a developing device for developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the electrophotographic photosensitive member by using a toner to form a toner image; a transfer device for transferring the toner image to a transfer medium; and a cleaning device having a cleaning blade for cleaning the electrophotographic photosensitive member while contacting with the surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member;
