Abstract

Methods to provide customized skin care by using specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from removable dispensers for the purpose of treating skin of a user are presented. Methods to utilize the embedded memory and electrical interface of the dispensing device and dispensers to produce customizable skin care products that give better skin treatment results are also presented. The invention may also be applied to health care and personal care needs.

Claims

1. A method to provide customized skin care by using a specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from a set of removable dispensers for the purpose of treating a target skin area of a user comprising the steps of:

creating user data during a skin analysis to analyze skin features of said user, whereas said user data contains a first identification (ID) of a first skin feature existing on said user'"'"'s skin with a first grade of severity of said first skin feature, and a second ID of a second skin feature existing on said user'"'"'s skin with a second grade of severity of said second skin feature;

storing said user data in a first information storage component included in a control unit enclosed in said specimen dispensing device, wherein said user data is stored in a user data structure;

installing said set of removable dispensers into said specimen dispensing device;

providing said set of removable dispensers including a first dispenser containing a first specimen and a second dispenser containing a second specimen;

wherein said first dispenser comprising a second information storage component storing a first specimen data including said first ID of said first skin feature with a first base grade and a first method of dispensing, and said second dispenser comprising a second information storage component storing a second specimen data including said second ID of said second skin feature and a second base grade and a second method of dispensing; and

wherein said first and second specimen data are stored in a dispenser data structure in said second information storage component;

transferring said first and said second specimen data from said second information storage components of said first and second dispensers to said first information storage component through a first data connection between said control unit and said first and second dispensers;

providing said control unit comprising an information processing component;

said information processing component calculating a first dispensing recipe to dispense specimens from said first and second dispensers with matching first ID and second ID from said first and second specimen data to the first ID and second ID from said user data, and with using an algorithm that utilizes said first grade, said first base grade, said first method of dispensing, said second grade, said second base grade, and said second method of dispensing;

said control unit commanding the dispensing of specimens from said first and said second dispensers according to said first dispensing recipe.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein said user data is transferred to and stored in a database through a data network during said skin analysis, wherein said database is designated to said user.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein said first dispensing recipe is stored in said first information storage component and a computing device is capable of acquiring said first dispensing recipe from said first information storage component through a second data connection;

and wherein said computing device includes any of;

a computer, a mobile phone, and a tablet.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein said computing device is capable of modifying said first dispensing recipe into a second dispensing recipe with adjustments initiated by said user;

wherein said computing device is capable of transferring said second dispensing recipe to said first information storage component of said dispensing device through said second data connection; and

wherein said control unit commands dispensing of specimens from said first and second dispensers according to said second dispensing recipe.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein said computing device is capable of transferring said first and second dispensing recipes to be stored in a database through a data network;

wherein said computing device is capable of acquiring said first and second dispensing recipes from said database through said data network; and

wherein said database is designated to said user.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein said first and second dispensing recipes stored in said database are used as reference during said skin analysis to create said user data.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein said dispenser data structure is a digital data format that is composed of:

first data section containing data to uniquely identify said user;

second data section containing first ID;

third data section containing first grade describing said first skin feature on skin of said user including;

existence or non-existence of said first skin feature, severity of said first skin feature;

fourth data section containing second ID; and

fifth data section containing second grade describing said second skin feature on skin of said user including;

existence or non-existence of said second skin feature, severity of said second skin feature;

8. The method of claim 1, wherein said dispenser data structure is a digital data format that is composed of:

first data section containing data to uniquely identify said dispenser and specimen contained therein;

second data section containing data of a skin feature ID;

third data section containing data of a skin feature base grade; and

fourth data section containing information of method to dispense specimen from said dispenser according to the said skin feature base grade.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein said first method of dispensing describes a standard amount of first specimen to be dispensed from said first dispenser when first grade equals first base grade;

wherein said algorithm calculates amount of first specimen to be dispensed from said first dispenser by multiplying said standard amount with said first grade, and dividing result from said multiplication with said first base grade.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein said dispensing recipe describes amount of first specimen to be dispensed from first dispenser, and amount of second specimen to be dispensed from second dispenser.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein said first data connection is one of the following:

wireless data communication between said control unit and said first and second dispensers, including any of;

WIFI, Bluetooth, RFID, infrared, inductive coupling, fiber optics interface; and

data communication through one or more electrical wires that connect electrical contacts on the external surfaces of said first and second dispensers to electrical contacts of said control unit.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein each of said second information storage components is one of the following:

a digital storage device;

an analog data storage device;

an optically recognizable marking;

an RF ID tag;

a magnetic data storage media; and

physical indentations or protrusions.

13. The method of claim 1, wherein said skin analysis is performed in the process of a skin image capturing by an imaging device, and a pattern recognition of said skin image by a computing device thereafter, wherein said imaging device is included in said computing device.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein said dispensing device has a skin treatment member for treating said target skin area of said user in conjunction with dispensing specimens from said set of removable dispensers, wherein said skin treatment member is one of following:

an ultrasound transmission plate for transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to user'"'"'s skin during contact with skin of said user;

a vibration head that produces a mechanical motion upon skin of said user during contact;

a brush head that produces a brushing function upon skin of said user during contact;

a component comprising one or more electrodes that apply electrical voltage to skin of said user during contact; and

a component comprising one or more light emitting devices that emit optical radiation towards skin of said user.

15. A method to provide customized skin care by using a specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from a set of removable dispensers for the purpose of treating a target skin area of a user comprising the steps of:

creating user data during a skin analysis with a computing device to analyze skin features of said user, wherein said user data contains at least a first identification (ID) of a first skin feature existing on said user'"'"'s skin with a first grade of severity of said first skin feature, and a second ID of a second skin feature existing on said user'"'"'s skin with a second grade of severity of second skin feature;

storing said user data in said computer device;

providing said set of removable dispensers including a first dispenser and a second dispenser;

providing a first specimen data including said first ID of said first skin feature with a first base grade and a first method of dispensing first specimen contained in first dispenser;

providing a second specimen data including second ID of said second skin feature and a second base grade and a second method of dispensing second specimen contained in second dispenser;

transferring said first and said second specimen data to said computing device;

said computing device calculating a composition recipe to adjust first specimen in said first dispenser to a first composition and second specimen in said second dispenser to a second composition with matching first ID and second ID from said first and second specimen data to the first ID and second ID from said user data, and with using an algorithm that utilizes said first grade, said first base grade, said first method of dispensing, said second grade, said second base grade, and said second method of dispensing;

adjusting first specimen in said first dispenser to said first composition and second specimen in said second dispenser to said second composition according to said composition recipe;

then, installing said set of removable dispensers including first and second dispensers into said specimen dispensing device; and

said dispensing device dispensing said first specimen dispenser in said first composition from said first dispenser and dispensing said second specimen in said first composition from said second dispenser.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein said computing device comprises at least one imaging device to capture skin image of said target skin area of said user, and a pattern recognition software to analyze said skin image to identify existing skin features;

wherein said computing device includes any of;

a computer, a mobile phone, and a tablet.

17. The method of claim 15, wherein said first method of dispensing describes a standard composition percentage of at least one effective element of first specimen in said first dispenser when first grade equals first base grade;

and wherein said algorithm calculates a target composition percentage of said at least one effective element of said first specimen by multiplying said standard composition percentage with said first grade, and by dividing the result of said multiplication with said first base grade.

18. The method of claim 15, wherein said first specimen is dispensed from said first dispenser in a first physical volume and said second specimen is dispensed from said second dispenser in a second physical volume;

and wherein ratio of said first physical volume over said second physical volume is a constant value.

19. A method to provide customized skin care by using a specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from a set of removable dispensers for the purpose of treating a target skin area of a user comprising the steps of:

creating user data during a skin analysis with a computing device to analyze said target skin area of said user, wherein at least a first skin feature is identified and identification data of said first skin feature are included in said user data;

providing said set of removable dispensers including at least a first dispenser and providing specimen data including identification of said first skin feature and an adjustment method to alter the composition of said first specimen contained in said first dispenser;

said computing device acquiring said user data and said specimen data and calculating a target composition of said first specimen in said first dispenser using an algorithm that utilizes said adjustment method;

adjusting first specimen in said first dispenser to said target composition;

then, installing said set of removable dispensers including first dispenser into said specimen dispensing device; and

said dispensing device dispensing said first specimen from said first dispenser in said target composition.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein said user data are created by said computing device when said computing device is utilized by the said user;

and wherein said first specimen in said first dispenser is adjusted to said target composition by a dispenser supplier who acquires said target composition from said computing device.
