SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ADVANCE ALERTS
First Claim
1. A system for providing advance alerts, the system comprising:
- a data storage device, the data storage device storing emergency data for a set of subscribers; and
an advance alert server comprising at least one processor and a memory, the memory storing an alert generation component, the at least one processor executing the alert generation component to receive a threat alert comprising a user selected alert level from at least one user device via a network, identify a current location of the at least one user device, select an alert zone comprising an area including the current location of the at least one user device, and send a notification alert to a set of user devices currently located within the alert zone.

Abstract
Examples provide an advance alert system. Emergency data including medical information is collected from a set of subscribers and stored. On receiving a threat alert from a user, an alert generation component sends an alert notification, including a threat level, to the set of subscribers within an alert zone associated with a source of the threat alert. On receiving an imminent threat alert, a call to an emergency response system is automatically initiated. On receiving a request for access to the emergency data associated with the user from an emergency responder, a unique identifier for one or more emergency responders is checked to determine if the emergency responder is authorized to access the emergency data. If the emergency responder is authorized, access is granted and the emergency data is output to the emergency responder in an anonymous format. A notification of the emergency data access is sent to the user.

7. One or more computer storage media embodying computer-executable components, said components comprising:
-
an alert generation component that is executed to cause at least one processor to send a notification alert to a set of subscribers within an alert zone in response to receiving a threat alert from at least one user within the alert zone; an authorization component that is executed by the at least one processor to cause the at least one processor to verify a unique identifier associated with one or more emergency responders requesting access to emergency data associated with the at least one user to determine if the one or more emergency responders are authorized; and a response component that is executed by the at least one processor to cause the at least one processor to send the emergency data to the one or more emergency responders in response to determining the one or more emergency responders are authorized. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10)

11. A method comprising:
-
receiving a request from a first emergency responder for access to at least a portion of emergency data associated with a user; on determining a first emergency responder login is valid, determining whether the first emergency responder is pre-authorized; on determining the first emergency responder is a pre-approved responder, outputting the at least a portion of the emergency data to a client device associated with the first emergency responder; on determining the emergency responder is an authorized responder lacking pre-approval, requesting a second login from a second emergency responder; on failing to receive a valid second login from the second emergency responder, denying access to the at least a portion of the emergency data; and on receiving the valid second login from the second emergency responder, outputting the at least the portion of the emergency data to the client device associated with the emergency responder. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
