PROVISION OF INFERENTIALLY DERIVED GUIDANCE TO EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL
First Claim
1. A system to assist with managing an emergent event comprising:
- a plurality of fixed or deployable sensors;
a second plurality of sensors, ones of the second plurality of sensors associated with respective ones of a plurality of users;
one or more tracking devices associated with respective ones of the plurality of users;
a processor, memory and inference engine adapted to;
receive information from a plurality of the sensors and the one or more tracking devices, determine, based on the information from the plurality of fixed or deployable sensors and the plurality of sensors associated with the plurality of users if a deviation from an expected course of action has occurred, and generate an inference based on the determination, anda communications module in communication with the processor that provides one or more of a navigational aid and instructions to one or more of the plurality of users based on the inference.

Abstract
An exemplary aspect relates an emergency response system and associated technologies. More specifically, an exemplary aspect relates to first responder and associated equipment access to one or more communications systems at, for example, an emergent event. Another exemplary aspect relates to an inference engine for first responders that assists with making inferences based on received information and/or more or more prior inference(s) and optionally automatically providing the inference and/or a recommendation(s) to one or more destinations, such as a communications device. Still another aspect relates to access point authentication and management for certain class(es) of personnel optionally based on location information.

21. An emergency system for an emergent event comprising:
-
an inference engine adapted to receive an indication of a 911 communication; a sensor data collection module adapted to receive information from one or more sensors at a location corresponding to a location of the 911 communication; an artificial intelligence module adapted to correlate available information about the location, with a query to a database, to the location of the 911 communication; a processor in communication with the artificial intelligence module and inference engine adapted to determine an inference based on the information from the one or more sensors and the available information about the location; and a communication interface in communication with the processor that provides one or more of a navigational aid and instructions to one or more of a plurality of first responders to the emergent event based on the determined inference. - View Dependent Claims (22, 23, 24, 25)
