Abstract

A portable table mounting storage basket apparatus that is quickly attachable and detachable by way of two small “L”-shaped brackets at the top of the backside, and a large removable “U”-shaped bracket centered at the backside with a “T”-shaped formation at the top of the end of the “U” that is not making contact and is protruding from the back of the basket. The two small “L”-shaped brackets at the top are to attach the apparatus to the top of a table, while the large removable “U”-shaped bracket with “T” formation is to be placed under a table to hold the apparatus in place when weight is placed into the basket. The “U”-shaped bracket with “T” formation is removable so as to allow the invention to fit onto a table with a larger edge. The large “U”-shaped bracket extends significantly further from the basket than the small “L”-shaped brackets to provide stability while making contact with the bottom surface of a table, especially when supporting significant weight in the basket.

Claims

1. A portable table mounting storage basket apparatus comprised of a basket, two small “

L”

-shaped brackets with rubber coverings on its extended arms, a large “

U”

-shaped bracket with rubber covering on one end and a “

T”

formation at the top of the other end with rubber coverings on both sides of the “

T”

, a mounting plate on the outside, a mounting plate on the inside, four nuts, and four bolts.

2. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein the two small “

L”

-shaped brackets are attached to the outside back of the basket by way of welding one side to the back of the basket, allowing the other end to extend outward.

3. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein the large removable “

U”

-shaped bracket is attached to the center back of the basket by way of placing the end of the “

U”

without the “

T”

through the bottom of a slot on the front of the plate on the outside of the back of the basket.

4. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein the large “

U”

-shaped bracket extends substantially further from the back of the basket than the two small “

L”

-shaped brackets in order to provide stability, especially while supporting significant weight.

The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein both inside and outside plates at the rear of the basket are attached by way of placing four bolts through four holes on the plate on the inside of the basket, and then through four holes on the outside of the basket and then held together by four nuts on the outside of the basket.

6. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein both sides of the “

T”

formation have a rubber covering to hold the apparatus in place when attached to a table.

7. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein the rubber coverings on the extended arms of the two small “

L”

-shaped brackets make contact with the top surface of a table to prevent damage and slipping.

8. The portable table mounting storage basket apparatus of claim 1, wherein the rubber covering placed on one end of the large “

U”

-shaped bracket which is placed through the bottom of the slot on the plate on the outside of the back of the basket is to hold the “

U”

in place.
