Abstract
A hard disk drive protection grip pad which provides a physical and active method of inhibiting portable or desktop disk drive from free falls or dropping the drive. This active method prevents and protects the disk drive from damage of physical impact on free falls or dropping of drive, thus preventing damage to internal components in the disk drive, which in most cases lead to unrecoverable loss of data storage.
