1. A method for providing information about an object in a digital video sequence, the method comprising:

  • receiving, by a processor, a first input from a user to pause the digital video sequence running on a display device, wherein the digital video sequence includes a plurality of video frames, and wherein a video frame is displayed to the user when the digital video sequence is paused;

    sharing, by the processor, the video frame with an image processing server to receive a processed image of the video frame, wherein the processed image includes a plurality of objects identified in the video frame and allows navigating between the plurality of objects;

    receiving, by the processor, a second input from the user, wherein the second input includes the object of interest selected from the plurality of objects of the processed image;

    based on the selection, sending, by the processor, a search request to a search server, wherein the search request includes information pertaining to the object of interest; and

    providing, by the processor, search results pertaining to the object of interest received from the search server, to the user.
