determining a utilization efficiency score for each of a plurality of energy storage devices based on the consumption data and the energy production data; and
ranking two or more of the energy storage devices based on the utilization efficiency.

In some aspects, a method of the subject technology can include steps for aggregating consumption data for a customer, receiving energy production data for each of a plurality of energy production sources, and determining a utilization efficiency score for each of the plurality of energy storage devices based on the consumption data and the energy production data.
