1. A self-contained fixed and integrated evidence collecting and recording device for collecting and preserving evidence of an event relating to the use of any firearm. Said evidence collecting and recording device comprising, in combination with an electrical power rechargeable electronic evidence collecting device configured to be mounted inside of a gun and integrated into the guns polymer frame, said evidence collecting device comprising:

  • (A) Video camera for producing a HDMI video signal representing video information obtained from the point of view of the gun;

    (B) A device that can store HDMI quality audio obtained related to the deployment of the firearm. (C) Data is preserved on the device via an internal memory with the ability to download in accordance with agency guidelines. (E) The device is built into the firearms frame, stock, and grip. (F) The device'"'"'s main components are installed into the back-strap of the handguns grip.1. The apparatus defined in claim 1, further comprising a sensor that will activate the firearm when it reaches a 90 degree angle and remains fluid. This will cause the audio visual function to engage. After a predetermined time (5 to 10 minutes) of no movement, the device will switch to standby mode until raised and moved again.2. The apparatus defined in claim 1, wherein said evidence collecting device further comprises a microphone, coupled to device, for producing a sound signal representing sound information obtained from the location of the gun.3. The apparatus defined in claim 1, wherein said evidence collecting device further comprises a HDMI video camera, for producing a clear video signal representing information obtained from the location of the guns point of view.4. The apparatus defined in claim 1, wherein the device will include a time/date stamp for accuracy.5. The apparatus defined in claim 1, wherein the device will include a memory storage function, capable of maintaining a digitally encrypted amount of date, to be downloaded by the end user via a USB portal device.
