Abstract

A mobile communication system that includes a first communication system, which features a user terminal that is present in a moving object, a first radio base station that forms a cell in the moving object, and a first core network that is connected with an external network, and a second communication system, which features a radio mobile station that is provided in the moving object, a second radio base station that forms a cell on the path of the movement of the moving object, and a second core network that is connected with the second radio base station. The first radio base station and the radio mobile station are connected via a user-plane interface and a control-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks.

Claims

1. A mobile communication system comprising:

a first communication system, which includes;

a user terminal that is present in a moving object;

a first radio base station that forms a cell in the moving object; and

a first core network that is connected to an external network; and

a second communication system, which includes;

a radio mobile station that is provided in the moving object;

a second radio base station that forms a cell on a path of movement of the moving object; and

a second core network that is connected to the second radio base station,

wherein the first radio base station and the radio mobile station are connected via a user-plane interface and a control-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks.

2. The mobile communication system according to claim 1, wherein:

the user terminal and the first radio base station transmit and receive user data and control signals via a radio interface; and

the first radio base station and the radio mobile station transmit and receive lower layer data of the user data via the user-plane interface, and transmit and receive lower layer data of the control signals via the control-plane interface.

3. The mobile communication system according to claim 2, wherein:

the radio mobile station and the second radio base station transmit and receive user data that is formed with the lower layer data of the user data and the control signals via the radio interface; and

the second radio base station and the second core network transmit and receive the user data formed with the lower layer data via the user-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks.

4. The mobile communication system according to claim 2, wherein:

the second core network and the first core network are connected via the user-plane interface and the control-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks; and

the second core network and the first core network transmit and receive the lower layer data of the user data via the user-plane interface, and transmit and receive the lower layer data of the control signals via the control interface.

5. The mobile communication system according to claim 2, wherein the lower layer data is L1 (layer 1) and L2 (layer 2) data.

6. The mobile communication system according to claim 1, wherein:

the user-plane interface is an S1-U interface; and

the control-plane interface is an S1-MME interface.

10. The mobile communication system according to claim 3, wherein:

the second core network and the first core network are connected via the user-plane interface and the control-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks; and

the second core network and the first core network transmit and receive the lower layer data of the user data via the user-plane interface, and transmit and receive the lower layer data of the control signals via the control interface.

11. The mobile communication system according to claim 3, wherein the lower layer data is L1 (layer 1) and L2 (layer 2) data.

12. The mobile communication system according to claim 2, wherein:

the user-plane interface is an S1-U interface; and

the control-plane interface is an S1-MME interface.

13. The mobile communication system according to claim 3, wherein:

the user-plane interface is an S1-U interface; and

the control-plane interface is an S1-MME interface.

7. A radio base station that forms a cell in a moving object, the radio base station comprising:

a radio communication section that transmits and receives user data and control signals with a user terminal that is present in the moving object via a radio interface; and

a network communication section that transmits and receives lower layer data of the user data with the radio mobile station provided in the moving object via a user-plane interface between the radio base station and a core network, and transmits and receives the control signals via lower layer data of a control-plane interface between the radio base station and the core network; and

a data processing section that performs data processing between the radio interface and the user-plane interface and the control-plane interface.

8. A radio mobile station that is provided in a moving object, the radio mobile station comprising:

a network communication section that transmits and receives, with a first radio base station, lower layer data of user data that is transmitted and received between the first radio base station that forms a cell in a moving object, and a user terminal that is present in the moving object, via a user-plane interface between the radio base station and a core network, and transmits and receives lower layer data of control signals that are transmitted and received between the first radio base station and the user terminal via a control-plane interface between the radio base station and the core network; and

a radio communication section that transmits and receives user data that is formed with lower layer data of the user data and the control signals, with a second radio base station that forms a cell on a path of movement of the moving object, via a radio interface.

A mobile communication method in a mobile communication system comprising a first communication system, which includes a user terminal that is present in a moving object, a first radio base station that forms a cell in the moving object, and a first core network that is connected to an external network, and a second communication system, which includes a radio mobile station that is provided in the moving object, a second radio base station that forms a cell on a path of movement of the moving object, and a second core network that is connected to the second radio base station, the mobile communication method comprising the steps in which:

the first radio base station and the radio mobile station transmit and receive lower layer data of user data that is transmitted and received between the user terminal and the first radio base station via the user-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks, and transmit and receive lower layer data of control signals that are transmitted and received between the user terminal and the first radio base station via a control-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks;

the radio mobile station and the second radio base station transmit and receive user data that is formed with lower layer data of the user data and the control signals via a radio interface; and

the second radio base station and the second core network transmit and receive the user data formed with the lower layer data via the user-plane interface between the radio base stations and the core networks.
