receiving, at a first port of a connector, guided electromagnetic waves at non-optical frequencies from a first dielectric core of a first conductorless cable; transferring, via a waveguide of the connector, the guided electromagnetic waves to a second port of the connector as transferred guided electromagnetic waves; and launching, via the second port of the connector, the transferred guided electromagnetic waves on a second dielectric core of a second conductorless cable for wireless transmission via a dielectric antenna coupled to the second dielectric core.
