1. A cell coverage determining method for a device-to-device (D2D) operation performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a specific signal that is repeatedly transmitted from a cell;
determining whether successful detection of the specific signal is maintained for at least a specific amount of time; and
declaring that the terminal is beyond the cell coverage if the successful detection of the specific signal is not maintained for at least the specific amount of time.
