1. A system for detecting and classifying information for a motor vehicle, the system comprising:
- a sensor mounted within the motor vehicle; and
a controller in communication with the sensor and having a memory for storing control logic and a processor configured to execute the control logic, the control logic capturing optical information from the sensor, classifying the optical information, comparing the classified optical information with communication data received by the motor vehicle, generating fused information based on the comparison, and transmitting the fused information from the motor vehicle as a source of additional communication data.

A system for detecting and classifying information for a motor vehicle is provided.
