- at least one processor configured to;
receive a selection of a first display mode or a second display mode; and
in response to receiving a selection of the first display mode;
(i) obtain data associated with one or more pieces of private content owned by a user and data associated with one or more pieces of public content not owned by the user; and
(ii) cause the obtained data associated with the one or more pieces of private content and with the one or more pieces of public content to be displayed in an order defined based at least in part on a time attribute associated with each piece of private content and each piece of public content; and
in response to receiving a selection of the second display mode;
(i) obtain data associated with one or more pieces of private content owned by the user, and not data associated with any pieces of public content not owned by the user; and
(ii) cause the obtained data associated with the one or more pieces of private content to be displayed in an order defined based at least in part on a time attribute associated with each piece of private content.

17. At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage device having instructions encoded thereon which, when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising acts of:

(A) receiving a selection of a first display mode or of a second display mode; (B) in response to receiving a selection of the first display mode; (i) obtaining data associated with one or more pieces of private content owned by a user and data associated with one or more pieces of public content not owned by the user; and (ii) causing the obtained data associated with the one or more pieces of private content and with the one or more pieces of public content to be displayed in an order defined based at least in part on a time attribute associated with each piece of private content and each piece of public content; and (C) in response to receiving a selection of the second display mode; (i) obtaining data associated with one or more pieces of private content owned by the user, and not data associated with any pieces of public content not owned by the user; and (ii) causing the obtained data associated with the one or more pieces of private content to be displayed in an order defined based at least in part on a time attribute associated with each piece of private content.
