Abstract

A connected logistics platform is provided to integrate data from various logistics sources. The platform can provide rule-based messaging and/or tracking. The platform can also provide selective access to the integrated data based on user role profile. Related system, method, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable medium are also provided.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

receiving, using at least one data processor, an input representing a geofence on a map;

monitoring, using at least one data processor, telematics data of a vehicle;

sending, using at least one data processor, a message to a recipient when the vehicle enters the geofence,

providing, using at least one data processor, the recipient access to the telematics data while the vehicle is located within the geofence; and

terminating, using at least one data processor, access to the telematics data when the vehicle exits the geofence.

2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising selecting, using at least one data processor, the recipient from a plurality of users based at least in part on user role data associated with the plurality of users.

3. The method according to claim 2, further comprising integrating, using at least one data processor, user role data into a cloud-based application.

4. The method according to claim 1, further comprising selecting the message from a plurality of messages based at least in part on the telematics data.

5. The method according to claim 1, further comprising monitoring, using at least one data processor, traffic data, and sending the message when the traffic data indicates a potential delay for the vehicle.

6. The method according to claim 1, further comprising monitoring, using at least one data processor, hub data, and the message includes at least part of the hub data.

7. The method according to claim 1, wherein the telematics data is received from an onboard unit of the vehicle.

8. The method according to claim 1, wherein the message is a contextual-based message based on logistics data related to the vehicle.

19. The system according to claim 8, wherein the operations further comprises selecting integrating, using at least one data processor, user role data into a cloud-based application.

9. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions, which when executed by at least one data processor of at least one computing system result in operations comprising:

receiving, using at least one data processor, an input representing a geofence on a map;

monitoring, using at least one data processor, telematics data of a vehicle;

sending, using at least one data processor, a message to a recipient when the vehicle enters the geofence,

providing, using at least one data processor, the recipient access to the telematics data while the vehicle is located within the geofence; and

terminating, using at least one data processor, access to the telematics data when the vehicle exits the geofence.

10. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, further comprising selecting, using at least one data processor, the recipient from a plurality of users based at least in part on user role data associated with the plurality of users.

11. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 10, further comprising integrating, using at least one data processor, user role data into a cloud-based application.

12. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, further comprising selecting the message from a plurality of messages based at least in part on the telematics data.

13. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, further comprising monitoring, using at least one data processor, traffic data, and sending the message when the traffic data indicates a potential delay for the vehicle.

14. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, further comprising monitoring, using at least one data processor, hub data, and the message includes at least part of the hub data.

15. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, wherein the telematics data is received from an onboard unit of the vehicle.

16. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 9, wherein the message is a contextual-based message based on logistics data related to the vehicle.

17. A connected logistics system comprising:

at least one data processor; and

memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one data processor, result in operations comprising;

receiving, using at least one data processor, an input representing a geofence on a map;

monitoring, using at least one data processor, telematics data of a vehicle;

sending, using at least one data processor, a message to a recipient when the vehicle enters the geofence,

providing, using at least one data processor, the recipient access to the telematics data while the vehicle is located within the geofence; and

terminating, using at least one data processor, access to the telematics data when the vehicle exits the geo fence.

18. The system according to claim 17, wherein the operations further comprises selecting, using at least one data processor, the recipient from a plurality of users based at least in part on user role data associated with the plurality of users.

20. The system according to claim 17, wherein the operations further comprises selecting the message from a plurality of messages based at least in part on the telematics data.
