Abstract

An endoscope includes a first flat surface formed at a distal end portion of an insertion part to be inserted into a subject, and orthogonal to an axial direction of the insertion part, an observation window provided at the distal end portion for allowing image light of the subject to be taken therethrough, with a surface of the observation window as a light incidence plane, an illumination window provided at the distal end portion to irradiate a subject with illumination light, a fluid jetting nozzle arranged at the first flat surface to jet a fluid toward the observation window and fixed at the distal end portion of the insertion part, and an inclined surface formed around the observation window and arranged at a position that faces the fluid jetting nozzle.

Claims

1. An endoscope, comprising:

a first flat surface formed at a distal end portion of an insertion part to be inserted into a subject, and orthogonal to an axial direction of the insertion part;

an observation window provided at the distal end portion for allowing image light of the subject to be taken therethrough, with a surface of the observation window as a light incidence plane;

an illumination window provided at the distal end portion to irradiate a subject with illumination light;

a fluid jetting nozzle arranged at the first flat surface to jet a fluid toward the observation window and fixed at the distal end portion of the insertion part; and

an inclined surface formed around the observation window and arranged at a position that faces the fluid jetting nozzle,

wherein the distal end portion is formed with a second flat surface arranged on the distal end side of the first flat surface and parallel to the first flat surface,

wherein the inclined surface includes a surface that connects the first flat surface and the second flat surface together,

wherein the illumination window is arranged at the second flat surface,

wherein the surface of the observation window is disposed so as to protrude by a predetermined distance from the second flat surface,

wherein a top of the fluid jetting nozzle in the axial direction is disposed at the topmost side in the axial direction, and

wherein the jetting nozzle includes a jetting port from which the fluid is jetted and a part of the jetting port is disposed on the distal end side with respect to the surface of the observation window in the axial direction.

2. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein a part of the jetting port overlaps to a part the inclined surface in the axial direction.

3. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein a distal end of an outer peripheral surface of the observation window is formed as a tapered surface that is obliquely to the axial direction.

4. The endoscope according to claim 2, wherein a distal end of an outer peripheral surface of the observation window is formed as a tapered surface that is obliquely to the axial direction.

5. The endoscope according to claim 1, further comprising:

a forceps outlet disposed on the first flat surface.

6. The endoscope according to claim 2, further comprising:

a forceps outlet disposed on the first flat surface.

7. The endoscope according to claim 3, further comprising:

a forceps outlet disposed on the first flat surface.

8. The endoscope according to claim 4, further comprising:

a forceps outlet disposed on the first flat surface.

9. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

10. The endoscope according to claim 2, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

11. The endoscope according to claim 3, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

12. The endoscope according to claim 4, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

13. The endoscope according to claim 5 wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

14. The endoscope according to claim 6, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

15. The endoscope according to claim 7, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

16. The endoscope according to claim 8, wherein the surface of the observation window includes a flat surface.

17. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein the observation window is fixed in the distal end portion by an adhesive.

18. The endoscope according to claim 2, wherein the observation window is fixed in the distal end portion by an adhesive.

19. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein all constituents disposed at the distal end portion of the insertion part other than the fluid jetting nozzle are disposed on a proximal end side with respect to the top of the fluid jetting nozzle.

20. The endoscope according to claim 1, wherein no constituent is present on the distal end side with respect to the top of the fluid jetting nozzle.
