Abstract

A hand-held shakeable container that includes an agitator connected to a straw that is used for the mixing of powder and liquid, or differing viscosity liquids.

Claims

12. A shakeable container comprising:

a container having a closed bottom;

a lid removably connected to the container;

a substantially vertical member extending from the lid on one end and having flange on the opposite end; and

an agitator connected to the substantially vertical member, wherein the agitator is connected to the substantially vertical member at at least three contact points, including a first contact point at or near a top of the agitator, a second contact point at a mid-section of the agitator, and a third contact point at or near a bottom of the agitator.

13. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the substantially vertical member is removably connected to the lid.

14. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the substantially vertical member extends substantially vertically downward from the lid to an area near but not connected to a bottom portion Of the container.

15. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the substantially vertical member serves as a substantial vertical axial member about which the agitator is disposed, so that the substantially vertical member marks a vertical axis of the agitator.

16. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the agitator is movable longitudinally along the substantially vertical axial member.

17. The shakeable container of claim 16, wherein the agitator slides longitudinally along the substantially vertical axial member.

18. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the agitator is of a coiled design that is compressible from top to bottom.

19. The shakeable container of claim 12, further comprising an opening in the lid from which a user may drink contents of the container, wherein the opening in the lid is covered by a flip-up top, and wherein the opening is off-axis relative to the substantially vertical axial member.

20. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein there is no contact between the agitator and the substantially vertical member at a first intermediate location between the first contact point and the second contact point, and at a second intermediate location between the second contact point and the third contact point.

21. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the agitator is a coiled metal wire.

22. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the agitator is a continuous loop.

23. The shakeable container of claim 12, wherein the substantially vertical member is a straw.

24. A shakeable container comprising:

a container having a closed bottom;

a lid removably connected to the container;

a substantially vertical member extending from the lid on one end, the substantially vertical member extending downwardly towards the closed bottom of the container;

an agitator connected to the substantially vertical member, the agitator being fixed in a permanent position on the substantially vertical member, wherein the agitator is connected to the substantially vertical member along substantially a full length of the agitator.

25. The shakeable container of claim 24, wherein the substantially vertical member is removably connected to the lid.

26. The shakeable container of claim 24, wherein the substantially vertical member extends substantially vertically downward from the lid to an area near but not connected to a bottom portion of the container.

27. The shakeable container of claim 24, wherein the substantially vertical member serves as a substantial vertical axial member about which the agitator is disposed, so that the substantially vertical member marks a vertical axis of the agitator.

28. The shakeable container of claim 24, further comprising an opening in the lid from which a user may drink contents of the container, wherein the opening in the lid is covered by a flip-up top, and wherein the opening is off-axis relative to the substantially vertical axial member.

29. The shakeable container of claim 24, wherein substantially vertical member comprises a flange at an end opposite from the end extending from the lid.

30. The shakeable container of claim 29, wherein the flange comprises a ring extending about the substantially vertical member.

31. The shakeable container of claim 24, wherein the substantially vertical member is a straw.
