1. A coil for sensing a changing current comprising:
- (a) an elongate substantially non-conductive core material having a first end portion and a second end portion;
(b) an elongate conductive member encircling said substantially non-conductive core;
(c) a coupler that interconnects said first end portion and said second end portion;
(d) a sensing module that receives an input signal from said elongate conductive member and estimates a conductor signal within a conductor at least partially encircled within said elongate substantially non-conductive core material;
(e) said sensing module modifying said input signal based upon an estimation of at least one frequency component of said conductor signal.
