Abstract

There is provided an input device. A panel has an input operation surface. A detecting unit detects a user'"'"'s touch operation on the input operation surface. A vibrating element can vibrate the panel, thereby capable of changing the frictional force of the input operation surface. A panel supporting unit supports the panel such that the panel can move in a direction parallel with or perpendicular to the input operation surface.

Claims

1. An input device comprising:

a panel that has an input operation surface;

a detecting unit that detects a user'"'"'s touch operation on the input operation surface;

a vibrating element that can vibrate the panel, thereby capable of changing the frictional force of the input operation surface; and

a panel supporting unit that supports the panel such that the panel can move in a direction parallel with or perpendicular to the input operation surface.

2. The input device according to claim 1, wherein the panel supporting unit has an elastic member which resists propulsion of in the plane direction of the panel which is caused by friction based on the touch operation.

3. The input device according to claim 1, further comprising a control unit that changes a feeling during the touch operation,

wherein the control unit changes the driving state of the vibrating element on the basis of the detection result of the detecting unit, thereby changing the frictional force of the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 3, wherein the control unit switches the vibrating element between a driving state and a stop state according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of the touch operation on the input operation surface.

5. The input device according to claim 1, wherein the panel supporting unit is a drive unit which moves the panel along the input operation surface.

6. The input device according to claim 1, wherein the panel supporting unit is a drive unit which moves the panel in a direction perpendicular to the input operation surface.

7. The input device according to claim 1, wherein the panel supporting unit is a drive unit which independently moves each of at least three points of the panel in a direction perpendicular to the input operation surface.

8. The input device according to claim 5, further comprising a control unit that changes a feeling during the touch operation,

wherein the control unit changes the driving state of the drive unit on the basis of the detection result of the detecting unit.

9. The input device according to claim 6, further comprising a control unit that changes a feeling during the touch operation, wherein the control unit changes the driving state of the drive unit on the basis of the detection result of the detecting unit.

10. The input device according to claim 7, further comprising a control unit that changes a feeling during the touch operation,

wherein the control unit changes the driving state of the drive unit on the basis of the detection result of the detecting unit.

The input device according to claim 5, wherein the control unit changes a distance by which the drive unit moves the panel, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 6, wherein the control unit changes a distance by which the drive unit moves the panel, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 7, wherein the control unit changes a distance by which the drive unit moves the panel, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 5, wherein the control unit changes acceleration of the panel which is moved by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 6, wherein the control unit changes acceleration of the panel which is moved by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

The input device according to claim 7, wherein the control unit changes acceleration of the panel which is moved by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

17. The input device according to claim 5, wherein the control unit changes a support angle of the panel by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

18. The input device according to claim 6, wherein the control unit changes a support angle of the panel by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

19. The input device according to claim 7, wherein the control unit changes a support angle of the panel by the drive unit, according to the display position of a predetermined display element which is displayed while being moved on the basis of a touch operation on the input operation surface.

20. An in-vehicle device comprising:

the input device according to claim 1; and

a display control unit that performs image display control according to an input operation received according to a user'"'"'s touch operation on the input operation surface.
