a processing circuit communicatively coupled to the user interface, the processing circuit comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the processing circuit configured to;
wait for the second input;
receive, via the user interface, the second input;
store, in the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, a plurality of characteristics of the selection of the transmitting channel and associate the characteristics with the selection of the transmitting channel;
pair the selection of the transmitting channel with a portable electronic device; and
associate the portable electronic device with the selection of the transmitting channel.

receiving, at a user interface, an input associated with initiation of a training process; waiting, by a processing circuit communicatively coupled to the user interface, for user input of a selection; receiving, at the user interface, the selection, wherein the selection is a command to clear all associations of devices with a transmitter device; and clearing, by the processing circuit, all associations stored within a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium associated with the transmitter device.
