    code for mapping the user interface element to one or more of the data models of the web-based application;

    code for associating a tooltip with the user interface element, wherein the client component provides an expression builder that includes a tooltip property for the user interface element such that when the user interface is associated with the content, a tooltip is automatically associated with the user interface element; and

    code for defining tooltip information for the tooltip based on the mapping of the user interface element to the one or more of the data models of the web-based application, wherein the server component exposes the data models to the client component such that the user interface element contributes at least a portion of the data associated with the one or more data models to a user interface within the application at runtime to provide the tooltip information.
