1. A method of processing calls from a requestor to a service provider comprising:
- a) receiving a request for service from the requestor through any media channel, wherein the request for service complies with one or more desired rule(s) from both the requestor and the service provider;
b) selecting a service provider that fits the one or more desired rule(s) from both sides;
c) determining whether the selected service provider is currently available by initiating contact with the selected service provider;
d) if the selected service provider is available, putting said requestor and the selected service provider in direct communication via a media channel as directed by either side;
e) if the selected service provider is not available, selecting an alternate service provider that fits one or more of the desired rules and repeating steps c) and d) as needed.

a) receiving at a processing center from a requestor a request for a service from within a local predefined area; b) generating a ranked list of providers that provide said service within said local predefined area; c) using said ranked list in a highest ranked to lowest ranked order, determining whether a live person is currently available at the selected service provider by initiating contact with the selected service provider; and d) if a live person is available at the selected service provider, telephonically connecting said live person and said requestor. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 22)

means for receiving at a processing center from a requestor a request for a service from within a local predefined area; means for generating a ranked list of providers that provide said service within said local predefined area; means for using said ranked list in a highest ranked to lowest ranked order and a reverse call center to locate a live person at a provider of said service; and means for telephonically connecting said live person and said requestor.
