Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a first device performed by a control device using the Bluetooth. The present invention provides a method and apparatus including receiving a first advertising message from a first device; calculating a first distance value that indicates a distance with the first device based on the first advertising message; receiving a second advertising message from a second device when the first distance value is smaller than a threshold value preconfigured to determine a proximity with the control device; and calculating a second distance value that indicates a distance with the second device based on the second advertising message, where a Bluetooth connection is established between the first device and the second device when the second distance value is smaller than the threshold value.

Claims

1. A method for connecting a first device and a second device performed by a control device using a Bluetooth communication, the method comprising:

receiving a first advertising message from a first device;

calculating a first distance value that indicates a distance with the first device based on the first advertising message;

receiving a second advertising message from a second device when the first distance value is smaller than a threshold value preconfigured to determine a proximity with the control device; and

calculating a second distance value that indicates a distance with the second device based on the second advertising message,

wherein a Bluetooth connection is established between the first device and the second device when the second distance value is smaller than the threshold value.

2. The method of claim 1,

wherein the first advertising message and the second advertising message include a parameter for identifying transmission power (Tx power) information or proximity information.

3. The method of claim 1,

wherein the second advertising message is received within a specific time after calculating the first distance value.

4. The method of claim 1,

wherein the first distance value is calculated based on a plurality of the first advertising message, and

wherein the second distance value is calculated based on a plurality of the second advertising message.

5. A method for controlling a second device performed by a control device using a Bluetooth communication, the method comprising:

establishing a Bluetooth connection with a first device;

receiving a first token generated from first user information that indicates a first user from the first device;

establishing a Bluetooth connection with a second device;

exchanging the first token and, a second token stored in the second device with the second device,

wherein the second token is generated from second user information that indicates a second user registered in the second device; and

controlling the second device when the first user and the second user are identical by comparing the first token and the second token.

6. The method of claim 5,

wherein controlling the second device further includes configuring a control range of the second device based on the first token value.

7. The method of claim 5,

wherein the first token is transmitted from the first device when a first distance value that indicates a distance between the first device and the control device is smaller than a threshold value preconfigured in the first device, and

wherein the threshold value is a value for determining a proximity with the first device.

8. The method of claim 7,

wherein controlling the second device controls the second device when a second distance value that indicates a distance between the second device and the first device is smaller than the threshold value.

9. The method of claim 8,

wherein the first distance value and the second distance value are periodically calculated by the first device.

10. A control device for controlling a second device using a Bluetooth communication, the control device comprising:

a communication unit for communicating to an exterior; and

a processor functionally connected to the communication unit,

wherein the processor is configured to;

establishing a Bluetooth connection with a first device;

receiving a first token generated from first user information that indicates a first user from the first device;

establishing a Bluetooth connection with a second device;

exchanging the first token and, a second token stored in the second device with the second device,

wherein the second token is generated from second user information that indicates a second user registered in the second device; and

controlling the second device when the first user and the second user are identical by comparing the first token and the second token.
