Abstract

In one possible embodiment, a system capable of a self-propagating data link includes an unmanned vehicle having a data link transceiver and at least one deployable data link transceiver. The unmanned vehicle having a deployment means for deploying the at least one deployable data link transceiver.

Claims

1. A system capable of a self propagating data link, the system comprising:

a) an unmanned vehicle comprising;

1) a data link transceiver;

2) at least one deployable data link transceiver; and

3) a deployment means for deploying the at least one deployable data link transceiver.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver further comprises at a means for airborne loitering.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the means for airborne loitering comprises descent inhibiting device.

4. The system of claim 8, wherein the descent inhibiting device comprises at least one of:

(a) an auto rotation apparatus;

(b) a parachute;

or (c) a balloon.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver comprises an impact reducing landing mechanism.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver comprises landing gear.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver further comprises a functionality inhibitor.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver is adapted to erase sensitive data.

9. The system of claim 7, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver comprises a self destruct mechanism.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver further comprises visual sensors.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver further comprises a radiation sensor.

13. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one deployable data link transceiver is a dynamic data link transceiver.

14. A UAV deployable device comprising:

a) a data link transceiver;

b) an aerial descent retarding mechanism to slow a descent of the device upon deployment of the device from a UAV; and

c) wherein the device is adapted to be capable of relaying data from the UAV upon deployment.

15. The deployable device of claim 14, wherein the aerial descent retarding mechanism comprises an auto rotation apparatus.

16. The deployable device of claim 14, wherein the aerial descent retarding mechanism comprises a parachute.

17. The deployable device of claim 14 further comprising a functionality inhibitor.

18. The deployable device of claim 14, wherein the deployable device is configured to erase sensitive data.

19. The deployable device of claim 14 further comprising a self-destruct mechanism.

20. The deployable device of claim 14 further comprising a visual sensor.

22. The deployable device of claim 14 further comprising a radiation sensor.
