Abstract

An electronic device includes a proximity wireless communication unit configured to communicate with an external device through proximity wireless communication using power wirelessly received from the external device, a storage unit configured to be accessed by the external device via the proximity wireless communication unit, a control unit configured to control execution of a plurality of application processes, and a power source. In various embodiments, according to a condition of the power source, the control unit controls to store information for executing an application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes.

Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

a proximity wireless communication unit configured to communicate with an external device through proximity wireless communication using power wirelessly received from the external device;

a storage unit configured to be accessed by the external device via the proximity wireless communication unit;

a control unit configured to control execution of a plurality of application processes; and

a power source,

wherein, according to a condition of the power source, the control unit controls to store information for executing an application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein

the power source condition includes a presence or an absence of wired power supply, and

when there is a wired power supply, the control unit controls not to store the information for executing the application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes.

3. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein

the power source condition includes information regarding a remaining capacity of a battery attached to the electronic device.

4. The electronic device according to claim 3, wherein

when the remaining capacity of the battery is equal to or lower than a first predetermined value, the control unit controls to store information for executing the application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes, and

when the remaining capacity of the battery is not equal to or lower than the first predetermined value, the control unit controls not to store the information for executing the application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, among the plurality of application processes.

The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein an application process executed with power which the proximity wireless communication unit wirelessly receives from the external device is stored in the storage unit regardless of the power source condition, such application process being one among the plurality of application processes.

6. The electronic device according to claim 1, further comprising

a wireless communication unit configured to perform communication at a distance longer than the proximity wireless communication unit,

wherein the plurality of application processes includes a communication application process for controlling communication with the external device via the wireless communication unit, and

the control unit controls to store information for executing the communication application process in the storage unit according to the power source condition.

7. The electronic device according to claim 6, wherein

the power source condition includes information regarding a remaining capacity of the battery attached to the electronic device,

when the remaining capacity of the battery is equal to or lower than a second predetermined value, the control unit controls to store the information for executing the communication application process in the storage unit, and

when the remaining capacity of the battery is not equal to or lower than the second predetermined value, the control unit controls not to store the information for executing the communication application process in the storage unit.

8. The electronic device according to claim 7, wherein

the proximity wireless communication unit communicates with the external device according to NFC standard, and

the wireless communication unit communicates with the external device according to wireless LAN standard.

9. A control method of an electronic device that includes a proximity wireless communication unit configured to communicate with an external device through proximity wireless communication using power wirelessly received from the external device, a storage unit configured to be accessed by the external device via the proximity wireless communication unit, a control unit configured to control execution of a plurality of application processes, and a power source, the control method comprising:

controlling to store information for executing an application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes according to the power source condition.

A non-transitory storage medium that stores a program that, when executed, causes an electronic device to perform a control method, the electronic device including a proximity wireless communication unit configured to communicate with an external device through proximity wireless communication using power wirelessly received from the external device, a storage unit configured to be accessed by the external device via the proximity wireless communication unit, a control unit configured to control execution of a plurality of application processes, and a power source, the control method comprising

controlling to store information for executing an application process related to charging of the power source in the storage unit, the application process being one among the plurality of application processes, according to the power source condition.
