Abstract
A delivery system for delivery of a radially expandable device to an implantation site in a patient, the delivery system including an elongated tubular member comprising a distal tip and an outer surface, first and second balloon portions spaced proximally from each other and the distal tip along a length of the tubular member, an annular space between the first and second balloon portions, a plurality of clip deployment tubes extendably moveable relative to the outer surface of the tubular member, and a plurality of clips, wherein each clip is moveable within a length of one of the clip deployment tubes between a retracted position and a deployed position.

- A method of repairing a native heart valve annulus, comprising the steps of;
positioning a radially expandable device relative to a delivery system, wherein the delivery system comprises; an elongated tubular member comprising a distal tip and an outer surface; a first balloon portion spaced proximally from the distal tip along a length of the tubular member; a second balloon portion spaced proximally from the first balloon portion along the length of the tubular member; an annular space between the first and second balloon portions; a plurality of clip deployment tubes extendably moveable relative to the outer surface of the tubular member, wherein each clip deployment tube comprises a distal end; and a plurality of clips, wherein each clip is moveable within a length of one of the clip deployment tubes between a retracted position and a deployed position; wherein the radially expandable device is positioned adjacent to the annular space between the first and second balloons; positioning the delivery system and device so that the device is adjacent to tissue of the native heart valve annulus; radially expanding the device by inflating at least one of the first and second balloon portions of the delivery system; deploying the plurality of clips through the radially expandable device and into the tissue of the native heart valve annulus; deflating the first and second balloon portions; and removing the delivery system from the heart valve annulus. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30)
