Integrated Cartridge Housings For Sample Analysis
First Claim
1. A method of making a test cartridge for measuring an analyte or property of a liquid sample, the method comprising the steps of:
- (a) molding a housing comprising;
(i) a top portion including a first substantially rigid zone and a substantially flexible zone, and (ii) a bottom portion including a second substantially rigid zone, wherein the second substantially rigid zone comprises at least one sensor recess;
(b) inserting a sensor into the sensor recess;
(c) abutting the top portion with the bottom portion; and
(d) sealing the housing in a closed position, wherein the sealing forms the cartridge, and the cartridge comprises a conduit over at least a portion of the sensor.
