Abstract

A power for a physical uplink channel is determined based on whether or not P_CMAX that is a maximum transmit power for a terminal device is exceeded, in a case where dual connectivity is not configured for the physical uplink channel, and a power for the physical uplink channel in a first cell group is determined based on whether or not P_MCG that is a maximum transmit power for the first cell group is exceeded, a power for the physical uplink channel in a second cell group is determined based on whether or not P_SCG that is a maximum transmit power for the second cell group is exceeded, P_MCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX and P_SeNB, and P_SCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX and P_MeNB, in a case where the dual connectivity is configured for the physical uplink channel.

Claims

1. A terminal device comprising:

a higher layer processing unit that configures a first cell group and a second cell group and configures P_MeNB that is a guaranteed power in the first cell group, and P_SeNB that is a guaranteed power in the second cell group; and

an uplink subframe generation unit that generates a physical uplink channel,

and

wherein a power for the physical uplink channel in the first cell group is determined based on whether or not P_MCG that is a maximum transmit power for the first cell group is exceeded, a power for the physical uplink channel in the second cell group is determined based on whether or not P_SCG that is a maximum transmit power for the second cell group is exceeded, P_MCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX that is a maximum transmit power for the terminal device and P_SeNB, and P_SCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least the P_CMAX and P_MeNB, in a case where the dual connectivity is configured for the physical uplink channel.

2. The terminal device according to claim 1,

wherein a value that is P_CMAX is configured for P_MCG, in a case where the terminal device recognizes that a subframe in the second cell group does not overlap a subframe in the first cell group.

3. The terminal device according to claim 1,

wherein a value that is P_CMAX is configured for P_SCG, in a case where the terminal device recognizes that a subframe in the first cell group does not overlap a subframe in the second cell group.

4. A base station apparatus that communicates with a terminal device, the base station apparatus comprising:

a higher layer processing unit that configures a first cell group and a second cell group and configures P_MeNB that is a guaranteed power in the first cell group, and P_SeNB that is a guaranteed power in the second cell group; and

an uplink subframe reception unit that receives a physical uplink channel,

and

wherein a power for the physical uplink channel in the first cell group is determined based on whether or not P_MCG that is a maximum transmit power for the first cell group is exceeded, a power for the physical uplink channel in the second cell group is determined based on whether or not P_SCG that is a maximum transmit power for the second cell group is exceeded, P_MCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX that is a maximum transmit power for the terminal device and P_SeNB, and P_SCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least the P_CMAX and P_MeNB, in a case where the dual connectivity is configured for the physical uplink channel.

5. The base station apparatus according to claim 4,

wherein a value that is P_CMAX is configured for P_MCG, in a case where the terminal device recognizes that a subframe in the second cell group does not overlap a subframe in the first cell group.

6. The base station apparatus according to claim 4,

wherein a value that is P_CMAX is configured for P_SCG, in a case where the terminal device recognizes that a subframe in the first cell group does not overlap a subframe in the second cell group.

7. A communication method for use in a terminal device, the communication method comprising:

a step of configuring a first cell group and a second cell group;

a step of configuring P_MeNB that is a guaranteed power in the first cell group, and P_SeNB that is a guaranteed power in the second cell group; and

a step of generating a physical uplink channel,

and

wherein a power for the physical uplink channel in the first cell group is determined based on whether or not P_MCG that is a maximum transmit power for the first cell group is exceeded, a power for the physical uplink channel in the second cell group is determined based on whether or not P_SCG that is a maximum transmit power for the second cell group is exceeded, P_MCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX that is a maximum transmit power for the terminal device and P_SeNB, and P_SCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least the P_CMAX and P_MeNB, in a case where the dual connectivity is configured for the physical uplink channel.

8. A communication method for use in a base station apparatus that communicates with a terminal device, the communication method comprising:

a step of configuring a first cell group and a second cell group;

a step of configuring P_MeNB that is a guaranteed power in the first cell group, and P_SeNB that is a guaranteed power in the second cell group; and

a step of receiving a physical uplink channel,

and

wherein a power for the physical uplink channel in the first cell group is determined based on whether or not P_MCG that is a maximum transmit power for the first cell group is exceeded, a power for the physical uplink channel in the second cell group is determined based on whether or not P_SCG that is a maximum transmit power for the second cell group is exceeded, P_MCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least P_CMAX that is a maximum transmit power for the terminal device and P_SeNB, and P_SCG is calculated by an arithmetic operation that uses at least the P_CMAX and P_MeNB, in a case where the dual connectivity is configured for the physical uplink channel.
