1. A display device with a touch detection function comprising:
- a substrate;
a plurality of pixel electrodes that are arranged in a matrix on a plane parallel to a surface of the substrate;
a plurality of signal lines that extend in a first direction on a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate and supply pixel signals used for displaying an image to the pixel electrodes;
a display functional layer that performs an image displaying function based on the pixel signals;
a drive electrode that faces the plurality of the pixel electrodes in a vertical direction with respect to the surface of the substrate and extends in the first direction;
a plurality of touch detection electrodes each extending in a second direction different from the first direction, the touch detection electrodes being metal wirings facing the drive electrode in the vertical direction; and
a plurality of dummy electrodes each extending in the second direction, the dummy electrodes being metal wirings of a same material with the touch detection electrodes, the dummy electrodes being not coupled with a touch detection unit which detects a touch based on a detection signal from the touch detection electrodes,wherein the metal wirings including the dummy electrodes and the touch detection electrodes are arranged at intervals of a natural number multiple of a first pixel pitch of the pixel electrodes in the first direction.

Abstract
According to an aspect, a display device with a touch detection function includes: a substrate; a drive electrode that extends in a first direction; and a plurality of touch detection electrodes that are metal wirings extending in a second direction different from the first direction. The metal wirings are arranged with a predetermined pitch so as to make capacitive coupling with the drive electrode.
