MOBILE DEVICE PAIRING
First Claim
1. A system comprising:
- a processor and a memory comprising instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the system to;
receive gesture data resulting from a physical user gesture associated with a first device and a second device;
extract from the gesture data a first curved-line between contact points of the physical user gesture on a first touchscreen of the first device and an exit point of the physical user gesture on the first touchscreen;
extract from the gesture data a second curved-line between contact points of the physical user gesture on a second touchscreen of the second device and an entry point of the physical user gesture on the second touchscreen;
determine that the first and second curved-lines correspond to curved-line portions of a same circle based on respective curvatures of the first and second curved-lines and relative positions of the exit point on the first touchscreen and the entry point on the second touchscreen; and
initiate a communicative coupling between the first device and the second device based on the determination.

Abstract
Systems and methods for pairing electronic devices are provided. In an example embodiment, first motion capture data corresponding to a physical user motion is received from a first device. Second motion capture data corresponding to the physical user motion is received from a second device. Features are extracted from the first motion capture data and the second motion capture data. An association between the first device and the second device is determined based on a comparison of the extracted features. In response to identifying the association between the first and second device, a communicative coupling between the first device and the second device is initiated.
