1. A processor-implemented method of rating a driver programmed in a non-transitory processor-readable medium and to execute on one or more processors of a computer configured to execute the method, comprising:

  • receiving, with a processor of a remote computing device, driving behavior information of the driver that is collected from sensors of a vehicle driven by the driver, wherein the sensors include brake sensors, and lane change sensors;

    analyzing the driving behavior information with the processor to determine a safety rating of the driver based the received sensor information from the brake and lane change sensors, and factoring in locations where the vehicle was driven and time of day the vehicle was driven;

    storing the determined safety rating of the driver on a memory of the remote computing device, wherein the safety rating is used to determine whether or not the driver will be able to drive the vehicle to arrive at a rider'"'"'s designated location;

    receiving a request for a driver by a user using a wireless device with the processor; and

    providing a list of nearby drivers to the rider and the corresponding safety rating of the drivers to the wireless device.
