WHEEL POSITION SPECIFYING DEVICE
First Claim
1. A wheel position specifying device arranged on a vehicle mounted with a pulse detecting unit that detects rotation of a wheel as pulses, and a wheel rotation number storage unit that stores a number of pulses detected by the pulse detecting unit in correspondence with time, a tire state detecting device being arranged on each of a plurality of wheels of the vehicle, and the wheel position specifying device specifying on which of the wheels the tire state detecting device is arranged, the wheel position specifying device comprising:
- a reception unit that receives a transmission signal, including a time required for the wheel to make a predetermined number of rotations, transmitted from each tire state detecting device; and
a specifying unit that specifies on which wheel each tire state detecting device is arranged from a difference of the number of pulses counted during the time included in the transmission signal, and a number of counts of a pulse detected by the pulse detecting unit while the wheel makes the predetermined number of rotations,wherein the predetermined number of rotations is two or more.
