1. A heating unit for a shaving razor comprising:
- a heat delivering element having a skin contacting surface and a bottom surface opposing the skin contacting surface defined by a perimeter wall; and
an insulating member positioned within the perimeter wall, the insulating member having a first surface facing the bottom surface of the heat delivering element and a second surface.

The guard is positioned in front of the one or more blades and the cap is positioned behind the one or more blades. A heat delivering element is mounted to the housing for transferring heat during a shaving stroke. The heat delivering element includes a skin contacting surface and an opposing bottom surface defined by a perimeter wall. An insulating member is positioned within the perimeter wall. The insulating member has a first surface facing the bottom surface of the heat delivering element and a second surface.
